Severe Latency Issue

I have been a long time user of the PC version of N-Track for many years, with pretty good success. Latency is non existent after getting an ASIO interface. Not so in this iPad version. Im experiencing about a 600ms latency recording guitar through an Alesis io Dock. That is about a half second, rendering this app pretty much useless for laying down tracks. I dont have this problem in GarageBand (at least to this extent). This is waste of 5 bucks as far as Im concerned. Any suggestions Favio?
