n-Track Studio Multitrack Recorder App Reviews

Im so happy to see n-Track on the iPhone! Ive used n-Track on the PC across many versions for the past 10 years. Its a great simple multitrack software and is working well on the iPhone! Perfect for recording a quick idea. This first version looks great. Nice work!

Just started using but so far great! So much easier than setting up the computer for recording. Really, really good for recording those ideas so you dont forget them when you get to the studio!

Paid 4 n track studio...but got an app that crashes a lot and slow...and is very different that n track on windows....very difficult to make a song on this! Needs a fix...guess ill wait on the update because this app has potential....

This is a great app! I just love it!

this is an awsome app for my career but i would like more things to add on such as autotuning,fading in and out and virtual instrument

And they certainly werent misplaced. This application is horrible. It has no metranome, so you cant actually record a real song. Plus, it crashes about 50% of the times you go into the EQ menu. The recording arent "Studio Quality". They have this constant background kinda "pffffffffffff" noise, and the stuff recorded sounds really mediocre. I would NOT recommend buying this. I cant believe I wasted four dollars on it. Even after the update, its still horrible.

Dont waste your time or $3. I should have figured it was a bad sign that the app crashed the first time I opened it. Then when I actually tried recording, the first track was fine but after I recorded the second, it crashed losing my take. Arghh! Also there was a loud clicking noise that repeated constantly in standby mode. Worst of all, you cant save a work in progress. Essentially you have to master/export all the tracks as wav file just to save and protect your work from constant crashes. Youve been warned! Gonna try Fourtrack now. Hard to find a functional multitrack recorder for Touch.

This app did the same thing to me as the last reviewer. Crashed when opening and will not even start. I am using iOS 5.

After the update it opens to the beginning screen - then after four seconds goes away and back to the screen with all the apps! No program. A waste of money for now.

Lots of potential, but crashes a lot. No one wants to work all day on a project to have the app crash and lose tracks. Good for getting ideas down, but cant seem to handle big projects. I use it in a constant state of anxiety.

I have been a long time user of the PC version of N-Track for many years, with pretty good success. Latency is non existent after getting an ASIO interface. Not so in this iPad version. Im experiencing about a 600ms latency recording guitar through an Alesis io Dock. That is about a half second, rendering this app pretty much useless for laying down tracks. I dont have this problem in GarageBand (at least to this extent). This is waste of 5 bucks as far as Im concerned. Any suggestions Favio?

i want my money back, app crashes every single time i use it, on my brand new ipad 2. i bought it to use my studio on the go, waste of my cash, and theres no way to contact the a******s who sold me the app, fix soon, or im complaining to apple. and i want my refund still.

I cant even open the app because as soon as i touch it, it boots me out imedietly!!! HELP!!!!!!

If you have a hiss. Use headphones. The speakers and microphone are next to each other. You can highly improve quality this way. I had installed the latest update and it stopped working. I did get help after a day or so and the advice was backup the info via iTunes apps and then reinstall the app. That worked. It still crashes during undo scenarios and randomly during editing but still is a very useful tool. Incoming calls also crash your takes so use airplane mode if your serious about your time. Thanks for making this software. It has helped me tremendously with its on point convenience.
