I’m so glad that I found this app!!!

Ive just downloaded n-Track Studio Multitrack Recorder and within 10 minutes I was able to record 192kHz 32 bit stereo audio using my brand new Apogee Duet iPad & Mac interface into my iPhone 5s.

The microphone I used for this test is the Crown SASS-P MKII stereo PZM microphone.

It was a challenge finding a recording app that would recognize the Apogee Duet and take advantage of the high sampling rates and 24 bit depth (in fact this app will let you record at up to 32 bit resolution). Most of the recording apps out there are limited to 48kHz at 16 bit and do not recognize external audio interfaces. Also, n-Track is able to utilize the 64 bit A7 chip in the iPhone 5s.

The real test will come when I do a live recording of my band at one of our recurring weekend gigs but, so far this app does the job. In addition, its very easy to export the resulting audio files to the hard drive of my MacBook Pro for Editing, Mastering and CD burning.
